Abakira builds Shopify apps for merchants who are tired of being oversold.
Read enough one-star reviews of Shopify apps and you notice that merchants rarely complain about a missing feature. They complain about the surprise: the bill that appeared without warning, the limit they found out about after the money was spent. None of that is an accident. Somebody chose it. So we made our own choices and wrote them down.
It is called the Abakira Code. Six rules every app we ship must follow, from showing you the ceiling before you install to keeping your pricing terms locked for life. We can afford rules like that because we are independent: nobody stands behind us asking for a number that requires squeezing you.
Abakira is small on purpose. Small means the person answering your support ticket can read the code that caused it. Small means shipping a few honest apps instead of forty mediocre ones.
